   Indonesia’s Mount Lewotobi Erupts: Ash Tower Soars 10,000 Meters into the Sky June 17, 2025 — Indonesia: The skies above eastern Indonesia turned ominous today as Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki , a twin-peaked volcano on Flores Island, unleashed a massive eruption . A staggering ash column rose 10,000 meters (32,800 feet) into the air — nearly as high as commercial jetliners fly — marking one of the most powerful volcanic displays in recent memory. 🔥 What Happened? At approximately midday local time , seismic instruments recorded over 50 eruption incidents in just two hours , far exceeding the volcano’s typical activity. The explosion sent a towering, mushroom-shaped ash cloud skyward, visible from towns over 150 kilometers away . The young talented and energetic Assemlymember for Kwaman Electoral Area in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District (Hon. Ebenezer  Anobil) on Monday 9th June 2025 donated 170 pieces of mathematical set and 400 pens to BECE Candidates in his electoral area as they head towards their final exams. After donation, He then advise the the candidates to learn hard to and come out with flying colours at the end of the exams.
